I’m down in Colombia and panama right now. They urban areas cleaner than most of the big cities in the states, it’s a shame

Hate to say it but black folk are some of the biggest litter bugs.

I work outside for a living, can’t tell you how many times I see a empty Popeyes box fly out of car window or kids walking from the corner store and just drop they wrappers right in people yard smh

When you go to other counties and see how much cleaner their streets are, it truly angers me. People just don’t have respect for their streets here.

The amount of times I’ve admonished kids for littering, it’s just beyond lazy. I wouldn’t do it now though because these hoodlums are wildin’ and carrying but that shyt just irks me.

My parents instilled it in me to never litter and it’s the easiest thing not to do. Seeing people just dump their crap anywhere is infuriating.

My parents used to get mad with me because I would come home with my pockets filled with litter. Once I explained to them I waited until I got home to throw it in the bin they were more understanding.

It’s just decency. People truly have no respect for this world. Littering is truly a reflection of someone’s values and mind state. It may seem minor but it says a lot about someone’s character.

I went to Tokyo years ago and the streets were so clean and pristine that I was embarrassed. Seeing people take pride and care of their streets compared to back home just made me smh.

People are still stuck in the 70s and 80s.

Ever since gentrification hit nyc the city has been getting cleaner by the year but the issue with nyc is the trash bags on the street which is getting fixed now.

Look at Harlem in the 70s and look at Harlem now. Central Harlem is pretty clean to me. East Harlem is still dirty as f*ck tho
