How the whole city depressed though?

There's a bunch of shyt I wish I had, mainly money. Ain't making nowhere near enough, but I'm not depressed. Besides, cleanliness helps depression.

The whole city isn't depressed

Above the fray.
Sad stuff. You can see the frustration in the residents' faces as they are fighting an uphill battle. Bad enough when outsiders treat your block like a dump, but people who live there doing it too?

Same people throwing trash on their own block will be the first ones complaining if developers move in and price them out

It’s not even just that tbh. DPW is terrible with the trash pickup and sometimes don’t come for weeks depending on the neighborhood. Then you got certain blocks with a bunch of bandos. People just dump bulk trash in those alleys

This is shameful, and its own the residents residing in the community as well. Its not too much to ask to put the thrash in the dust bin and clean up after oneself,
i wouldnt want young growing children or elderly people living in such a place

The Truth
It’s not just the people there either

Apparently the city allocates funds to other areas where it’s probably “nicer” or not the “hood”. If they got to make complaints and still nothing gets done, then the city themselves don’t care and people got used to it.

This is exactly what it is. Trash pickup in my neighborhood comes on time like clockwork every week. Some neighborhoods they don’t come for weeks. And it’s not like people can just leave trash bags in the house. So they sit out in the alley for weeks and here come the rats

Man if they haven't picked it up before like 6 or 7, the rats already knocking around inside the bag. If those mfs were on the city payroll we wouldn't have this problem, they're punctual AF.
