That's some bull right there though and messes up the recent trend of the Super Bowl champs opening at home.

Keyword...recent. It's not some lifelong tradition that's mandatory or cherished. So why not open the season with Peyton vs Eli? Or Peyton vs Luck? Or Peyton vs Brady? Niners vs Seahawks? Any of those matchups is just as intriguing.

I feel the Ravens opening the season on the road cheapens their Super Bowl win. Since Thursday is a conflict with the O's, let them wait 3 days and open Sunday night at home.
