Honestly I went to bed seeing he was at like 57 points near the end of the 3rd quarter, so waking up to see this guy hit 83 literally has me like :dahell: Of all players in the league, he’d probably be like 50th if you asked me to guess who would have the highest scoring game in recorded history. Hell, I’d have him 4th on his OWN TEAM.

Great player, but his name just looks so out of place on that list of players with 70+. The graphic of him between Wilt and Kobe feels like a troll job every time I see this. I can’t believe prime Harden, Steph, Embiid, Lillard, Giannis, KD, Kyrie, Doncic, Mitchell, SGA never broke Kobe’s record, it’s Bam fukking Adebayo. i need one of them to correct that expeditiously and go for 85

You know who has the most passing yards in a game in modern NFL history? Brady? No. Peyton? Nah. Rodgers? Nope. Brees? Marino? Favre? Mahomes? None of the above. It’s Matt Schaub

It’s just how it is sometimes :manny:

Yeah and I acknowledged 83 > 81 earlier. I said I hope this method is used from here on out because this is the most gift wrapped 70 plus game ever. So may as well let others do it as well. A watered down product deserves watered down ratings. So I don’t wanna hear you dudes ever complain about the intensity of the all star games, etc, from here on out. :manny:

Fam.... there is no "From here on out". It's over :mjlol:

Yall want to declare war so you could try to claim some type of future "get back". Let it go, its one game.. He's not coming back to score 87 for y'all, let him rest. If he was still here he'd say congrats and KIM.

If anybody scored 83 the way Bam did last night, I'd be disgusted

My disgust is with the Miami Heat altogether now...what was displayed last night was egregious...foul baiting the whole 4th qtr, intentional fouling as soon as Wash would inbound the ball, intentionally missing FTs to get more possessions, challenging offensive fouls up 25+ with 2 mins left

The 4th quarter highlights are putrid bc the intent was simply get to the foul line & create as many possessions as possible while up 25

Wash only playing Sarr 20 mins when he drops 28 in 20 mins is borderline fireable too

That just wasn't good basketball to watch last night...the nba is becoming a terrible product

All last night showed me is that there will be a formula to get to 100+ now:
- Play a tanking team late in the season
- Make 10 triples
- 10 layups/dunks
- 3 to 5 mid-range makes
- 40+ FT attempts
- Create as many possessions as possible in the 2nd half
- Play 43 to 45 mins
- Make sure game is a blowout
- Have other 4 team members buy in to one player cracking a 100

yep

Flipper Anderson – Most receiving yards in a game (336)
Scott Skiles – Most assists in an NBA game (30)
Jerome Harrison – 286 rushing yards (3rd most ever)
Sam Gagner – 8 points in one NHL game tied for second most ever

The Heat showed the recipe. You can essentially foul the other team, give your team more possessions, and also have your own teammates miss free throw. So yeah it can be done with ease from here on out.

That wouldn't have happened on my watch if I were Bam's teammate.

I would have attempted to block his attempts when he was pulling up from three.

This is a great point.

True but in the NBA it always seemed like the guys doing this were superstars. i mean even before Kobe, you had David Robinson with the 70+ game. And after Kobe it was Luka, Book, Donavan, etc.

Bam an All Star but still pretty random

I remember that Matt Schaub game too lol
