Wemby damn near yawned![]()

Honestly, unless the other teammates are all shooting terribly it's probably impossible to score 80+ points by yourself without a lil statpadding anyway. Wilt also statpadded his way to 100 points, Bam did it more. I think he had like 30+ points in the first quarter so it's still impressiveI don’t know how to break this to you but there was nothing “ethical” about Kobe’s 81. Yes LA was down at one point but they eventually blew the game open. He could’ve sat much earlier but instead stayed in up 18 points with seconds remaining in the game. For the last 7 minutes of the game no Laker shot the ball besides Bryant and his last 7 points were all stat padded FTs.
This is the general problem with Kobe Stan’s. You dudes just don’t ever approach these conversations honestly. Every single popular argument and narrative for Kobe is revisionist history that you will quickly realize is bullshyt if you actually bother to do your own research.
Kobe greatly benefits from the bulk of his career happening just before the uprise of social media. It’s allowed his most deranged stans to just outright make shyt up about what he actually did. And they just repeat it incessantly to the point where lesser minded people start to believe it. This is how we’ve made it all the way to 2026 with people still believing the bullshyt about him being a “clutch killer” when there’s mountains of evidence suggesting otherwise.
You talking about “how much do yall love the game” nikka how much do you love it?? You just witnessed a dude do something remarkable and couldn’t help but immediately start hating because it came at the expense of dear leader![]()

No headline on ESPN or CBS, and the headline on The Athletic is basically a Juelz
A certain stanbase is gonna have to work rreeeeeealllllll hard to make this stickShout out to Bam though

LeBron: I woke up this morning, and just knew Bam was gonna put up 83. I could feel it![]()
Honestly I went to bed seeing he was at like 57 points near the end of the 3rd quarter, so waking up to see this guy hit 83 literally has me likeOf all players in the league, he’d probably be like 50th if you asked me to guess who would have the highest scoring game in recorded history. Hell, I’d have him 4th on his OWN TEAM.
Great player, but his name just looks so out of place on that list of players with 70+. The graphic of him between Wilt and Kobe feels like a troll job every time I see this. I can’t believe prime Harden, Steph, Embiid, Lillard, Giannis, KD, Kyrie, Doncic, Mitchell, SGA never broke Kobe’s record, it’s Bam fukking Adebayo. i need one of them to correct that expeditiously and go for 85

And now Bam.
