That is exactly what I thought off for Celtics. Gafford is not needed, neither is PJ with Flagg. And they will sell themselves into a defensive PG who has chemistry with AD.

Focus #1 for the off season is that they need to get a Center or PF that can rebound. That to me was the biggest problem all year. Neither Porzingis, Horford, or Kornet were good rebounders. We jack up so many 3's, might as well have someone there to catch all the misses lol
Tbh I won’t be shocked if they try to build Simons value up and flip him at the deadline. Like I said in the thread it’s low risk, maybe it works out maybe it doesn’t. Not like we’ll be contending without Tatum

Breh I think Brad thinking about a shocking trade. If the Spurs add Castle(I doubt they do) to it he’s pulling the trigger.

I don’t see him or White getting moved unless someone puts an offer on the table that’s too good to justify passing up on
Also it’s not like Tatum’s career is over, he will be back and you still need to have a supporting cast for him to return to
There are some Rumblings about Vassell, Barnes and the #2 pick for Brown but I don’t like that Deal and I’m sure the Celtics front office not trying to take that much salary back. Switch up one of them for Stephon Castle that’s the only deal I’d make.

Hmmm I guess their philosophy is now going the younger route with Vassell/Castle and the #2 pick. Idk how I feel about going super young, but I guess it's not a bad thing
I don’t want them to trade JB and I think the Spurs won’t include Castle on any deal but that’s the only trade I’d consider, I think this is a gap/cap reset year(Tatum may or may not play depending on how they approach the injury) and some of those guys might get re routed in a year for a Giannis or any star that becomes available in 26-27 season once Tatum is 100%.

I saw a tweet that the Celtics are now $18 million over the cap
A Hauser trade is easily the one to trade to get under the cap
They 100% trading that KP expiring $30 million deal and Hauser can pack his bags as well. Hopefully they can get a younger KP replacement.
