My old baber did it cause he was maxed out on appointments all day every day. Simple supply and demand. He is trying to find the sweet spot to balance that out. Problem is it forced me to find another baber and I did. Better service, better cut and better price. My new baber barley has clients. The shop is dead empty so I just roll in whenever and get the best fades of my life especially the fact there is no rush cause no one is there.

i go to a salon where i'm probably the only male client and a cut's been 30 for five years, shyt i can get a cut and get my color retouched for 65 and tip. and the cut includes a shampoo, massage, hot towel, and keratin treatment too.

i thought it was brehettes getting robbed on haircare but now i see it's the other way

Chick who does my locs charge 60 and she spend hours on em while these sheisty ass barbers spend 20-25 mins on a cut and 10 mins of that is bullshyttin round only for you to be back in a week

Problem is, too many half-azzed barbers want to get the $$$ without putting in quality work.

In no business, do people raise their prices from 50% to 125% in such a short time, especially when wages have not increased.

Have business start closing up again because of COVID. I guarantee you a lot of barbers phones wont be ringing.

If a haircut is 60 bucks then that man weave got to be at least 150 to 200 dollars....
