I’m in quite a dilemma with my barber rn

might gotta switch to another barber in the same shop

i had to go to see Beyoncé. My barber wasn’t there. So I grabbed a chair. My barber came In mid cut. Words was had between barbers. I was shook lol. After everything died down. My barber finished the cut. I didn’t even give the other barber a dime lol

They are terrible every single time too. I just ask for a one, taper the sides and the back.

We have a base here in Atlanta. It’s more Cobb County though. I think it’s $13 and they have black barbers. I’m rarely on that side of town though.

We have a base in Forest Park. I’ve never noticed a barber shop there though. I might have to look out for one.

I use to tdy there all the time. I use to go to the nco club for a cut. One barber lines up good and the other did fades good, you had to pick which one you wanted but cuts were $7 at the time

Lost a customer because he wanted to scam another $20 bucks out of you. I understand barber have to make a living but shyt is getting out of hand. I love getting my haircut when I'm out the country and paying $10 with tip.

I still go to him, but yeah i told him he’s too expensive for my kids.

My main barber off Slauson & Vermont is too busy and our schedules haven’t been linking up.

Had a female barber in Santa Monica but she’s been hella flaky.

Honestly the only other way to go is find some of these kids still learning the trade and Honestly they should be caking cause these licensed barbers are charging way to much.

But they do have that booth fee they have to pay.

I wonder how many heads a week they doing? Ten heads is $500. That’s a good Saturday. Friday might get through 5-7. Being off on Sunday and Monday, Tuesday through Thursday might be rough. Yes, I’m countin they pockets.

That's basically 100$ per hour since most haircuts are under 30min.


These barbers are going to lose a whole market doing this stupid sht. Cause while they are out here extorting us, those Dominicans are down the street still charging $15 per cut like it's 2005.

so my barber been flaking the past month
ive had to reschedule a couple times and when i rescheduled i had to do ANOTHER reschedule

so yesterday i pull up in the am…he wasnt there on time… been like that for like the past few months
the other barbers ask me “have you talked to him” nah i havent… they tell me for like the past month he aint really been cutting hair and pretty much been working elsewhere

so i text him and he responds “i didnt know you had an appointment today cause my schedule is closed my bad”

so the owner was there and told me that he would cut may so i went to the owners chair and the owner cut me up

and he pretty much broke it down to me how my barber just left and he only there a couple hours thru the week…
it just so happens that he changed his schedule to nights so i cant go in at that time

I guess the other barbers been taking his clients because he not letting them know that he aint there anymore

I lowkey wanna find a new shop cause with my luck imma book an appt next week with the owner and my barber going to be there even tho he say he aint cutting in the morning and it might be problems but

i’m conflicted rn

Dude legit been cutting my hair since i was 12 years old.

I’m 40 now and i’ve probably had my hair cut by someone else less than 5 times in the last 28 years.

I don’t even know how to get a new barber. Would be like dating after 30 years of marriage
