Probably the best directed one.
Malcolm D. Lee >> Tim Story.

However, its not better than first one. Still solid.

Common still a limited actor. At least limited in terms of speaking dialogue in serious scenes. He's great in action movies.

A better actor in that role and its an even better movie.

finally saw this.. it was pretty damn good... a lot better than i expected

good to see cube and common in a movie having beef after having beef back in the 90s

Watching this right now, and it's a lot different than I was expecting, but fitting for the time. I guess I was expecting more comedy instead of legit life lesson type stuff.

Nicki Minaj is fine as hell, but cot damn she can't act. Her, Regina Hall, Eve, Ice Cube's wife, and the chick with the long braids all bring the eye candy, I can't complain.

Somebody mentioned Common being a limited actor, and I pretty much agree, but he's cool here in a serious role, and in action/dramas.
