A relevant independent party would require a paradigmatic change in our political system that we lack the power to effect. This is a more practical shift in power that we have the numbers to initiate.

Not only do the republicans hate your guts, but I don’t even see how their platform provides any aid or relief to us at all.

I know in reality the Repubs spend out of control, but the their core beliefs call for small government and as little help from the government as possible. Any form of reparations or a black agenda will require major government spending. It doesn’t really make sense to even go to them.

I would avoid them all together. IMO, it’s either the Dems or find a viable 3rd party who is directly promising to help us.

Jews routinely bargain with cacs who desire a return of those ovens, but once black people start considering other options, putting forth the mere idea that perhaps we are sitting at the wrong table to broker a deal, they're called "agents" and accused of sowing the seeds of our destruction. But, they haven't got elected in every state precisely BECAUSE of the black vote. If ADOS shifted their support of Democrats to Republicans, after a deal has been brokered, there would hardly be a state in America under Democratic control. Now, I'm not suggesting Republican policies are all that beneficial to us, but Democrats haven't shown that their policies do any better at alleviating the condition of black America. What we need is reparations, and that won't happen if we don't begin to leverage our electoral might to bear out tangibles. From whom those tangibles are won is not material, in my opinion.

Lol. Then we see courts flooded with conservative judges and damage done to programs and budgets across America. Even if Democrats promised 100k for each black person alive and started winning back blue states, the damage would already have been done. Lol

Republicans want the "race" question removed from political discourse. It's the one thing that has prevented them from securing enough seats at the Federal and state level to effect a conservative agenda. Identity politics has hamstrung them, because black America routinely brings it to the fore, as we should. Republicans would love it if that wedge issue which keeps them from power was put to rest. How best to do that than to answer for the original sin of this country and repent in the form of comprehensive reparations that make us whole and leave us satisfied enough to not allow the Democrats to cynically use our suffering for electoral victories that never aid our community.
