:unimpressed: you talking stats and I'm talking what actually happened. Pau is the main reason for them losing that series.
Did Kobe play well or not? Regardless of what Pau did, Kobe played like ass.

Bu, bu, but narratives :bryan:

I noticed that's the word you run to when shyt that actually happened is brought up.
You didn't bring up ANYTHING that happened. You claimed that Kobe was winning all their games in 2000, I proved that he played like shyt in every game and every 4th quarter except the last 3 minutes of overtime in Game 4. Kobe didn't win ANY of those games for them except that one short stretch of one game. Otherwise he was terrible and had to rely on Shaq, Rice, Fox, Horry, Fisher and even Harper to win those games.

Big facts :mjlol: Pau was soft as fukk and Kobe/PJ did their absolute best to toughen him up. To Pau's credit he definitely bossed up at times but any little thing could get him back to acting like a beeeeyotch.
The same Pau that was leading his teams to better finishes than Kobe in '05 and '06 despite having a worse #2?

he's comparing Terry and Kobe's stats too as if they were being guarded the same :deadmanny: nikkas forget Kobe was getting guarded on the perimeter like Steph before Steph :pachaha:
No he wasn't, no one gave a fukking shyt if Kobe spammed deep threes, he was never hitting them like that. :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

And who guarded Kobe in 2011 anyway? And who guarded Terry? :sas2:

Well, you kind of have to be dominant to be Western Conference Champions.
So you admit you can't name a single one that had actually been dominant. :mjlol:

You can just say you agree with me, it's obvious stuff. Go back to what I posted earlier. It's easier to get to the Finals in the East during Lebron's era.
Because of the Knicks and the Pacers?

The best teams Bron beat in the East were as good or better than the best teams MJ beat in the East. And the teams he faced in the Finals were MUCH better than the teams MJ faced.

The Pistons. Also, this was when the Lakers and Spurs started to dominate. They were in the Finals the next 7 years.
Those Pistons didn't win any titles after MJ retired. :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

When MJ retired in '93, none of the teams he had beat could win anything in '94 or '95.

When MJ retired in '98, none of those teams he beat could win anything in '99 or '00.

The teams MJ faced in his prime just weren't that good. He never went up against a Kobe-Shaq Lakers, a Duncan-TP-Ginobli Spurs, a Pierce-Ray-KG Celtics, a 73-win Warriors team or a Durant-Steph-Klay-Iggy Warriors team. The only great teams he ever faced were the Celtics/Pistons teams that washed him his youth, once Bird and Isiah's injuries caught up to them those teams weren't at the same level. Prime MJ never once had to rise up to carry an inferior team against a better one.

On the other hand, prime MJ also never failed to perform to his standards and take care of business. So I think he has the slight edge. But they both have arguments.

Kobe ain't even in the discussion cause he never had to rise up to win like that AND he repeatedly failed to take care of business.

Charles Barkley is part of the same machine that thrives off hot takes and superficial logic like First Take, Undisputed and WFAN.

All of this crap is just the sports version of Ricky Lake and Jenny Jones. Low brow entertainment that wastes time.

The comedy is cool. But don’t put too much effort in arguing any of it.

Anything to get people talking. That's all that matters with talking heads. Correct or not.

I feel like Barkley says this once a year and then the same people argue about it and get nowhere

Can’t wait to see him say this Again in 2022

So you admit you can't name a single one that had actually been dominant. :mjlol:.

I just did, all of them or they wouldn't have won the Conference. Listed players earlier in the thread already. Just scroll back and read.

And MJ actually faced better Pistons teams, Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman etc. The team they used to have a problem with.

The best teams Bron beat in the East were as good or better than the best teams MJ beat in the East. And the teams he faced in the Finals were MUCH better than the teams MJ faced.

Any reason you're leaving Shaq and Penny off? Beat them 4-0. They were averaging 27 and 26 and lost. The Magic went to the Finals the year before.

people just wanna act like the heat didn't lose to the fukkin mavs :mjlol:
Kobe and the defending champ Lakers got swept by them and yet nobody talks about that :heh:

they won 55 games and thats cuz the Bulls were able to build an actual system around MJ, whereas Bron's teams were built to be helpless without him. Y'all not gonna hold it against MJ cuz he bought into PJ's system :umad:
They won 55 games with PETE MYERS starting at SG :russ:. Replace Jordan with an all-star player like Reggie Miller and the Bulls are winning that season. That would never happen in other eras. Could you imagine if the 2000 Lakers replaced Kobe with a SG from the Italian league, won 60 games, and pushed the eventual Eastern Conference champs to 7 games.
