As much as I love physical books, when you traveling and wanna read something there's no better choice than your phone or a tablet.

Not to mention websites where you can get books.....let me stop :mjpls:......it's hard to picture myself getting up in 30 degree weather in NY and going down to B&N for some books, shyt just ain't the wave to me anymore. With that said it sucks those people lost their jobs so early into 2018.
They should have linked up with Starbucks or something and start slanging dope coffee and snacks in em hoes

And way too many people reading books without coping

Half price books gotta lower prices anyway

In any decent society, Amazon would be put in check real quick. Break up the banks applies to overreaching mega-companies too.

Google gobbles up google like entitiies. Google does not gobble up your local grocery store, the taxis, the new food company that delivers meals you can cook...

Amazon is fukking evil.

That’s not amazons fault. They are doing what they are supposed to do.

word like blockbuster. i heard they had the opportunity to purchase netflix before it became the monster that it is.

and they passed...:wow:

adapt or die off

Blockbuster was working on producing their own movies with financing through Enron. That shyt blew up and it was all downhill from there

Be thankful they didn't buy Netflix bc it wouldn't be around as we know it today

They can't be beat and offer numerous advantages over reading on a phone or tablet.

All you have to do is read up on them :troll:

I can download any book to my phone and read it, regardless if its a EPUB or not......as long as its a PDF......I have the world largest library for free......why would I limit my access to books by buying an overpriced Kindle?

to be honest i don't know that these companies could've done anything. amazon kills it in the book business bc you can go there and buy a used book for basically the price of shipping. amazon would sell books even if it was losing money on it because it brings people to their site.

how do you compete with a company that's willing to lose money on the items upon which you base your business?
