It goes both ways. These old dudes don't open up their mouths to say anything positive about younger players, and it was the same for the players before them.

Not to mention they are completely stuck on one way to do something...and only one way, i'm not a millennial but spending time chastising young people finding their own way..:camby:

also its fukk inside TNT forever show's trash.

didnt jordan say something similar about Allen Iverson/ his generation, also given the fact that Jordan was supposedly froze out by veterans in his first all sar game because they didn't like his attitude. whereas Oscar Robinson said things about jordan and magic, and when magic coached for a couple games said players of today just dont get, which would be Baron generation
nobody shyt dont stink ever :ehh:

Old nikkas are bitter and either don't accurately remember how it was or have replaced those memories with how they wish it was. Young nikkas are disrespectful and have no idea what is coming their way, despite the fact that they swear they got it. That applies everywhere, not just NBA players.

And no there is nothing similar about their games. The only comparison between the two is height and candor. Neither is the big deal it was in Barkley's time. This is the age of positionless basketball and guys are more willing to express themselves today. So there really is no basis to call this guy "the modern day Charles Barkley". Considering their history it was, as the old folks say, a messy ass question.

The old generation always on some back in my day shyt, they don't respect young players either.

It's the same thing in hip-hop for example Lil Yachty va. Joe Budden really you see it in all aspects of life in general how much flack do "milennials" get from the older generation.

:russell:
Joe Budden was helping that young boy.

This is what it's been like since the beginning of time.

You just have different perspectives as you age. :yeshrug:

shyt isn't even something important at this point, it's just a fact of life.

Yeah I agree with this. It's pointless to compare generations anyway because there's so many differences. Karl-Anthony Towns hit more 3 pointers this year than Larry Bird ever hit in a season. It's a different game. Guys train differently, eat differently, compete differently.

Plus the young guys might not even know about these old heads. I was born in '83 and can barely remember Chuck on the Sixers. Draymond is younger than me. Plus I noticed TRUE hoopers don't even watch the NBA like that. Why? They be out hoopin! They told Westbrook Iverson liked his game and asked his opinion on that. Westbrook said honestly he never saw Iverson play. Seems crazy but when I was growing up the best athletes didn't know shyt about pro sports. That's probably why they were the best athletes, they on the court while I'm listening to Marv Albert. :yeshrug:

Yeah, unlike the totally selfless gen x-ers, the yuppies of the 80s, and the oh so grounded baby boomers :stopitslime:
People have been criticizing younger generations since 400 B.C.

The children now love luxury. They have bad manners, contempt for
authority, they show disrespect to their elders.... They no longer
rise when elders enter the room. They contradict their parents,
chatter before company, gobble up dainties at the table, cross their
legs, and are tyrants over their teachers

That's true and I'm not saying my generation were fukkin Vikings or anything I just think with the boom of technology and the internet /social media era that there's a huge difference and disconnect in the way my gen grew up and the younger cats

Not many people are aware, but every generation of the NBA had superior athletes than the previous generations and the current generation always shytted on the previous eras "lack of superior athletes"

In 30-40 years, I promise you people will be shytting on LeBron's contemporaries. That's just the way it goes.
