Diddy son, is pretty much one of those kids you have on the team cause they can play... but more because they have high academics that you can show off.

He's 5'7" 170...not overly fast, or a great leaper.. he's not gonna get any burn in the Pac-12 where 6'5" receivers are everywhere
His metrics wouldn't have made sense 20 years ago. :heh:

he's pretty much trapped in the body of a promising HS freshman...

Nate Robinson, might've been the only player i can think of at his size that was even worth mentioning playing corner.

but then again he had Olympic speed, and 40+ " vertical... and Diddy's son, is just Diddy's son.

You guys know there are short corners in the league right now right? And they don't have blazing speed either...

Nikell Roby 5'7 Buffalo Bills

Brandon Flowers 5'9 San Diego Chargers

Ike Taylor 5'8 Pittsburgh Steelers (just retired)

Tyran Matthew 5'9 Arizona Cardinals (safety sometimes covers the slot)

Andrew Hawkins 5'6 Cleveland Browns (receiver)

Wes Welker 5'8 (just retired)

etc. etc..

If you can play you can play. If you can cover a nikka and move backwards and sideways quickly, then that makes up for being only 5'8 and only running a 4.4-4.6

I dunno why you nikkas think you have to be able to run a 4.2 and jump out the gym to have a chance. If this was the case, track nikkas would come play football and make more money(but they can't).

Welker is 5'9
Andrew Hawkins is 5'7

And generally speaking, short players like that are the exception to the rule. And most of the time they're specialist players who are inserted in certain situations.

Not everyone can be Dexter McCluster or Darren Sproles

Andrew Hawkins lists himself as 5'6 on his instagram, and Wes Welker admitted he was only 5'8. Often times the NFL and NBA exaggerates listed heights and weights.

There have been so many short players over the years, and are currently in the league now, they it's greater than just an exception.

You guys seem to want to build this up in your heads for some reason. Short guys can play, dudes who run a 4.6 can play too...it's not all about measurables(which are often exaggerated, if you really knew the game).

You're right.

Spud Webb was a star in the NBA.
Short players excel there all the time too

He fukked up going to play for David Shaw. Dude is too conservative and has no imagination. He loves those north amd South backs that can take a beating.

Dude probably doesnt want to play football tho. If he did, he would've transfered.

I can buy this.

Should just went to OK St. Would been pressure, but nobody puts that much pressure on OK St in general so he would've been fine.

Still hard to believe him and Sterling Sheppard played non the same high school squad.

Darrell Green was the only other short corner I can recall that was so athletic at that height.
