Everytime he touched the ball it had to the opportunity to be one of the best plays you'd ever seen. Best runningback of my generation for sure.

Word. Barry was the only nikka who could have a game where he had 20 rushes for 25-30 yards, but would still keep you on the edge of ya seat cause you knew at any moment, he could bust out a 80 yard run out of nowhere. I remember a game against the Jets (my pops was a big Jets fan), and I was telling my pops, "they look like they controlling him", and my pops was like, "nah, this Barry Sanders... just wait; he gonna get 'em". And sure enough, in the second half, Barry put maybe 150 yards on them nikkas. And my pops was HYPED, even though the JETS was his squad, he loved watching Barry cook nikkas.
