I voted for Biggie. Two studio albums and the guy is mentioned in GOAT lists across the globe for what, his looks? The man made some good ass rap music and if you ask me, Life After Death was the greatest rap album ever to be released.

The man's bars still get quoted to this day; some rappers have built entire careers where Biggie left off. Not even a question is you ask me. Biggie is the GOAT and is so simply because of his music.

Edit: A little surprised that Scarface isn't even on the poll. Eleven solo studio albums all receiving mass critical acclaim (save for The Fix, which they said "appealed too much to the mainstream"), the man's music is ultimately what makes him great.

Mac Dre & 2Pac are in a league of their own. Work ethic, authenticity, consistency, and ear for beats really set them apart. They both also fused rap and hip-hop so they got all types of people riding for them.

Pac's the most widely considered GOAT. And a lot of intelligent Hip Hop heads pick KRS One. A few names I hear brought up are Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, Rakim. And hear occasionally names like Kool G Rap brought up too. Then you have smaller sections who think people like K-Rino, Canibus, Big Pun etc.

KRS-One is a really good choice, even though Pac is my number 1, KRS is an excellent option. Cause he also stood and stands for a lot and has huge content and depth to his work and a really dope discography.

Tupac . . by leaps and bounds and it's not even close, nobody has a catalog that compares in consistency and depth. In other words, if Tupac's catalog of music was a college football team his 3rd stringers would be beating their starters

you can't tell me pac had better production than biggie and you can't tell me he had better bars, concepts, sequencing, cohesiveness or sonic quality.

pacs albums were approached like "lets record 2000 songs and make 10 albums out of those tracks"
Life after death and Ready to die were approached like "lets make an audio screen play". the quality you got on those 2 albums, you can't find a pac album of that caliber.

i get it you nikkas are in love with the enigma that was pac. but he aint got shyt fukking with life after death its like comparing a tyler perry movie to some speilburg shyt

Damn, no love for Andre 3000...

I guess being in a group jeopardises him. In my view Andre is the goat...his/their ascension album to album, songwriting ability, production, and most of all content is unparalled to me. Truly game changing AND ahead of their time.
