Unfortunately a mod of this sub-forum and/or one of the site owners is going to have to handle that.



If "this stuff" is getting black people called c00ns, or whatever the fukk, it needs to be eradicated completely. If the sub-forum can't survive after that then it needs to go.

This is not why The Arcadium was created, and anytime "this stuff" happens, and cook or Brook gets 5,000 notifications, I don't want to put words in their mouths but they have to be re-evaulating it's existence. They already separated the sub-forum, not sure what the next step is.

I agree this sub could use some better moderation, but the times when the mods did try to clean it up, they got more complaints and headaches than ever.

I'm sure bk and cook only care about traffic. This sub gets a lot of traffic, so they keep it here. Multiple mods including bk and cook have been mentioned in this thread. Nobody has done anything so that pretty much tells you where they stand on the issue.

Why are you defending the man..He himself knew he was in the wrong and even agreed to get banned. It;s impossible to completely erase this kind of stuff from forums when anyone can hid behind an avatar. The best solution is making an example out of someone so the others will chill..

I could understand this in The Ladies Room or The Locker Room. General sub-forums with no specific interest.

This sub-forum is one of the most specialized ones on the site, it's not a catch all. It's for video games, that's it, similar to how The Booth is for rap and The Film Room is for movies/TV. And these types of threads don't happen in The Booth or The Film Room. This is exactly why The Film Room exists in the first place.

This site does numbers with or without The Arcadium. The reason they're slow to respond here is because this sub-forum isn't a priority. I know a lot of you guys like The Arcadium but it went from one of the top destinations on this entire site, to being largely ignored by most people, including the mods/owners, due to stuff like this.

Forgive me if I'm misunderstanding you, but are we blaming VIDEO GAMES for the use of racial slurs now? Gaming continually gets unfairly snubbed as a childish waste of time by people who simply don't have an interest in gaming to begin with. The same racial slurs are found on most if not all the sub forums on the coli. You see the same "Stanning" in the Biggie vs Tupac crowd that almost always results in racial slurs and various insults launched back and forth. IMO the answer to this situation is aggressive moderation of all forums or none at all. There shouldn't be a site wide neg train plastered at the header of every page because a coli member was caught in a lie and then turn around and ignore this situation. In the case with Cole Cash, Observe was banned for a limited time and had his avi changed to the rat from Ratatouille and his info showed "iRat". I understand that every issue is dealt with on a case by case basis and is left up to the discretion of those in charge but it seems like situations much more insignificant than this one have been dealt with aggressively, so why is this ignored? Is it because the arcadium isn't taken seriously because "It's just a bunch of nerds bickering back and forth"? I would invite anyone to take a minute and notice the same bickering going on in other sub forums on the coli.
