Basketball heads, is Steph Curry stoppable?

A lot of this is true but you can't switch too much or too readily because they'll start slipping them screens to collapse the paint. Curry is a creative enough passer and dribbler that he can throw passes or pull up for a shot in no time.

You also gotta be willing to gamble on those lanes and force turnovers on Curry or Draymond. Curry doesn't get disheartened by physical play or cheap shots but stuff like turnovers will frustrate him for a couple of possessions.

You also wanna keep the ball out of Draymond's hands. Curry is their ace and leader but Draymond is the heart. When he does big plays, everyone else becomes fired up and then you got Barnes doing tomahawk alley oops or Iggy doing crossover to posters.

I think my Heat did a pretty good job of matching up well against the Warriors.

Yea its not fool proof but to me its the best option vs their small lineup. You can't keep doubling curry and let draymond be a playmaker and get other wide open threes. Curry going to get his no matter what and tbh it prolly don't matter if a hand in his face or not. But what you can't let him do is let him catch and shoot, or come off a high screen and role layed back try to defend draymind too.

That why I said the whole thing depends on you having personel at the 1-5 when they go small that both can move and tall enough defend green and have the mobility to at least make curry shoot off the dribble pullups or take multiple dribbles to get into the paint.

Like I said there is no stopping them its just trying make them do something don't want to do, as often as possible.

Yea and if you watch that game you see how easy he scored in the flow of offense. It's crazy.

Team defense will stop him.

make him drive and ISO and dribble more.

Make him shoot 2 pointers.

Easy said than done when he's pulling up 10ft behind the 3-pt line. You can't realistically guard shyt like that over the course of an entire game.
