We talking about possibly the goat shooter. Not only that but he does such a great job at creating space to pop one off. I won't quite put him in in LeBron and kds level of scoring at will... yet. But he sure has been playing like it.

Containable but not stoppable.

One thing I notice is no PG's in the playoffs really attacked him OFFENSIVELY and made him work defensively. Make em expand energy

Danny Green and Leonard guard him and Thompson very good due to their length and strength. Granted they still get theirs but ive seen em contained against SA

But Allen hardly ever guarded Curry :dwillhuh:
Never said he did, basketball is a team defense concept not one on one. Having Tony allen allowed Memphis to double or show on curry up top and hope ta could cover klay mostly by himself except at rim. Right now curry being guarded by one of the worest defenders in the league on a island (jason terry)

the problem with this is

1. Nobody can shut Curry down

2. Even if you succeeded with that, they got so many guys who can score you will still get your ass busted.
Of course nobody will shut him down but Cavs can actually defend unlike Houston. He won't be getting anywhere as much open shots.

They still doubled without Allen. Once Curry slowed down and Kerr made adjustments, it was over. Allen lost Klay multiple times in the halfcourt (he either missed makeable shots or didn't get the ball) - his impact on the defensive end [in that series] is drastically overstated. At no point in that series did they 'stop" Curry - he has burned every defender and every defense this season.

Like it was said above, no great offensive player can be "stopped" - only contained.
