I think the Spurs would have gotten ran off the court after a few games...like what happened to the Grizz. Kawhi can't guard everybody. Clippers would have gotten washed too because of their lack of depth.

na breh we wouldnt have gotten wash shyt is at least 6 games
now if we going in like we did with the clips with a hurt splitter and parker
yup we getting wash simple as that
healthy wise aint no way in hell we getting wash not gonna say we gonna win we would put up the best fight but at same time we could also beat them

anybody saying otherwise on that :mjpls:
it was well noted we were their biggest threat and only team that could beat them

From the look of things, the Warrior's run a similar offense to Atlanta, but don't have the talent in their starting 5 or the bench that GS has. If you notice the pick and rolls and screens that the Warriors do for Curry, they match the same set plays that the hawks do for Korver. And we see how that has turned out for the Hawks so far. But alot of that get's flipped on it's head when it comes to GS because they have players who are constantly moving, cutting, and can consistently punish you with made shots.

So I'm intrigued of the potential matchups for the finals when we get there.

He runs off of so many screens though. When he doesn't have the ball you still can't give him any space. Do you know how difficult that is to do? To stay in front of a man that's getting screens from Bogut, Green and Ezeli isn't easy. Alvin Gentry knows how to counter a lot of that aggression.

You're right but you can force him to have a tougher night if his main defender is dedicated and the help defense is on point. Difficult to stop him? Yes. Impossible? No. Plus if you have him also working on defense... fatigue and foul trouble can be a factor. I'm no basketball anaylst/expert, just an opinion, i could be wrong. I guess the result of the Finals will answer the question definitely. Blatt has been getting alot of credit for his defensive schemes/sets so it should be a fun series.

Yeah he's stoppable Memphis did a great job until Tony allen pulled his hamstring

By game 4, tony allen or not, there was no way Memphis was going to stop Curry. He figured them out that game and the series was over.

u need a defender like allen and leonard

peeps be forgetting i swear :snoop:

curry may still score on u but u can slow him down and make it harder for him to work for his points same as lebron
elite defenders can do that

That game and an earlier game against Memphis (I remember VC going off from 3) are the only games I recall Golden State getting dominated by a better team. If you're going to beat GS you have to guard them as a team and if anybody could do it, it's San Antonio. I think the Cavs will do just like Miami used to do and guard Steph and Klay with physicality and make it chippy and we'll see how that goes also.

He figured Tony allen was finished and Memphis could no longer trap him so yeah series was over.

You can't count out a LeBron James led team breh. Let's not forget he'll have to guard arguably the most skilled PG of all time that will undoubtedly make him put in more work on the defensive end than he's had to throughout these entire playoffs.

Lebron isn't a good defender.

It's hard to stop Curry with those illegal ass screens they do :francis:

I'm a curry fan but people really over look the fact that he's only able to do what he does with pick and roll.

He's not some amazing ISO ankle breaker like kyrie or iverson.
