People making it about him being mixed are playing dumb. J Cole is mixed too, but he ain't wearing black face, making punchlines out of slavery, saying that foreign rappers are better than rappers in the states and a whole host of sucka shyt.

Got his white son wearing doo-rags too

You my guy but come on

the blackface shyt was wild. But it made sense what he was doing.

slavery punch lines lol

Cam got the illlest punchline ever based off slavery

He went for the cheap pop with that lyric shyt. Not a big deal

you don’t like him lol

Nah I don't like him, but I'm pointing up that Drake's perception vs. Cole's cannot be chalked up to him just being too low key and out the way to be criticized.

They both got a white mama, one burned down a plantation in his video, the other wore black face and makes BDSM/slavery bars. Cole doesn't get tagged as a colonizer because he doesn't behave like one.

I don't know what Cam line you're referencing but I doubt it's worse than Emmet Til' line, still, as ignorant as either example is, they aren't outsiders.

Nah, J Cole don't get it because he is actually connected to Hip Hop and black American culture.

"We dont wanna hear you say nikka no more"

The first thing he does next is weaponize the word nikka, like a peckerwood. Somebody who is of the culture would know better than to do any of that and you know it. You also know it ain't about him having a black dad or not, it's about who he is at his core and that is not Hip Hop, he came from outside the culture to dominate, exploit and cash in on. You can call Em a colonizer if you like or say he's worse by default because he's actually white when one of the biggest knocks against him is that he doesn't imitate black music lol, point being he doesn't get that treatment aside from Ghost calling him a Pilgrim because he is rooted in the culture enough to show fukking respect.

"We don't wanna hear u say nikka no more!!.." If that's the case. Why did Kendrick let Jay Worthy say nikka? Jay Worthy is an Indian Canadian who's sister is Elon Musks babymoms. He grew up well. He is 0% black. He moved to Cali as an adult and became a blood. Son was on the stage with Kendrick saying nikka left n right. Is he of the culture?

Not explicitly but along those same lines, not unlike Yachty with the George Floyd thing, already egregious and discomforting but would hit different and worse coming from somebody foreign or white adjacent.

You missed the point of Not Like Us then, you also missed Kendrick calling Drakes son black?…

That conversation was not about Drake not having black skin. It was clearly stated that Drake doesn’t see himself as black and only uses his blackness when it suits him. Etc. It comes to the point where Drake himself lost his black identity, and now fakes his black experience to prove a point.

I'd invite you to check Dj Vlad and Akademiks interview, talking about Drake's lack of black identity, lack of respect for the african american culture and how he doesn't understand that culture, which leads him to direspect it, yet still tries to benefit from it when it suits him.

Thats a diss from Kendrick.
Just bevcause he said it doesn't mean its true.
Like seriouslyu what is wrong with some of you.

This is why I don't like the Kendrick diss regarding Drake's race. Its you nut jobs that are actually trying to argue that this shyt is true.

No, I'm saying that for all the FBA bullshyt you spout, you are in here rationalizing a 'tether' who was raised in a jewish community, who lacks enough connection to a staple of 'FBA' culture to not even know how to say the N-word without sounding like a cac or that he shouldn't wear black face.

Him having a black daddy does not negate that he doesn't come from or understand the culture enough to avoid displaying obvious signs of disconnect.

Drake sees other trending artists from different regions & with different experiences and copies their persona to keep himself relevant. He's whack he doesn't, have any adherence to the essential elements black culture. He has no moral character, and he claims to be black when it can benefit him despite ignoring everything about the culture :dead:
