Hit em up was one verse from Pac and the Outlawz, a lot of which people deem wack/forgettable. Yeah, lots of weight behind it, lots of impact but it is NOT a better song, it's just not. And that's coming from someone who stays getting negged for calling Dot overrated.

You clearly like Drake enough regardless of what you say during these arguments. You're a lyricist yet you picked the ghost written rapper as having the best raps in this exchange. Hold water for his culture vulture antics like biting, pretty much being raised a suburban white jew violating and cosplaying our culture who didn't even know how to correctly pronounce the word nikka in a way that wouldn't make people double take as a grown man.

He is clearly not like 'us', yet you are constantly back against the wall for this nikka just to downplay Kendrick and the skill it took to make that song the way he did it. Lining up all those elements successfully is a skill.
When I mention Drake. I always disclaimer that shyt as far as the writing goes. But Kendrick jumped in that knowing the possibility so I’m just rolling with it. Only thing I can do now is speak on the bars on its merits. HONESTLY. I expected a lil more from Kendrick as far as disses goes. That’s just me. I felt the entire battle was mid as fukk. On both ends. Like. IMO. Beans vs Kiss was far more enjoyable to me. This shyt was TOOO corporate for my tastes and I blame Drake for that since he dropped Back to Back and which I shytted on in real time. I don’t like to feel like some shyt is getting pushed on me. Like I’m being TOLD how to feel about some shyt. It just became SUPER corny. For MY tastes I have quite a few disses over Not Like Us.

Meet The Grahams might have a slight edge but Story Of Adidon is still a classic diss. Might have to revisit the latter a few years from now but recently listened to it and it’s still holding up.
Meet The Grahams is NOT better than Story Of Adidon. Number 1. Pusha provided the proof and the diss as a package deal. Everything Pusha said in that diss record was a fact. Kendrick copied it and added a lie. No points for that from me.

Story Of Adidon is a classic and still stood the test of type obviously. It’s still too early to tell anything about Meet The Grahams but i still enjoy it.

Thought it was mid as a song and after the first verse damn near unlistenable …it blowing up fukked up GNX for me cause ALL that “new west coast” sounding shyt is trash to me…I don’t listen to Kendrick for wack mustard sounding beats and offbeat funny voice rapping…leave that for that for the dusty tatted face new LA nikkas
Huh? The second verse was the best verse

As a lyricist, why would you be so aggravated at the colonizer scheme? For one...it wasn't really a reach because he does move like a colonizer. For two, the fact that he did it in a diss record, a record that went number 1, against a certified culture vulture seems like it would make someone of your ilk happy let alone irk you so fukking much. People's reactions to your takes on this aren't random or rooted squarely in stan war shyt, it's actually very very weird.

And I'm not trying to force anything, NLU did it's thing on it's own merits and hit em up getting a teacher fired doesn't mean it's a better song. In fact, as a Pac stan hit em up's impact greatly outweighs it's quality as a diss record. Against all odds is the pentacle IMO.

Not like us is the most impactful diss since hit em up but there is nothing besides Pac's verse and the vitriol to make an argument about it being a better diss.
Drake is black saying he moves like a colonizer is some none fba shyt.

Black Americans are all mixed due to the way we were created. . We were created in a very distinct way that is not like carriebean and south Americans. They largely brought men, 80%en for slaves in north America. When the British said they would stop international slave trading they then brought women to breed. This is different than other areas becJse they typically brought women and men and children from same unit and put them on a plantation.

From that history in the US if you are partially black you are black. If you are quarter black you are black.
This notion that has sprouted up that if you are mixed you aren't black isn't black american culture. So Kendrick was lame as hell for going that route.

NLU is probably the most complete diss song ever.

And you can't seperate the impact the song had with kendrick's skills and writing...because the way he wrote and recorded the song is the reason why it was so impactful.

Is it the most popular diss song ever? Yes
Is the the most impactful diss song ever? Yes
Is it the most damaging diss song ever? Yes

And overall, even though its more subjective, I'd argue it's the best written diss song ever.

Drake was raised in a Canadian jewish community fam, he is culturally and ethnically jewish.

Says black slang is ignorant

Establishes himself as a rapper but can't even pronounce the word "nikka" without the hard R

Says he didn't experience racism til he got famous and came to the states....what in the fukk does any of that have to do with FBA nonsense, or even him being bi-racial? J-Cole and Drake have the same parental triangle when it comes to race...nobody is accusing him of being a colonizer or cos-playing Hip Hop, because he's not.

Anybody that thinks Kendrick's angle was excluding everybody of mixed race from the black community is fukking stupid.

THIS. Calling a man with a black American father a colonizer is wild work. Then it became this whole light skin vs darkskin shyt and nikkas was tryna even say Steph Curry ain’t black cause he got tired of hearing Not Like Us even tho BOTH his parents are black Americans. People in the comments was even trying to say Beasley was mad at Not Like Us cause he’s light skin. Slippery ass slope and anti black af imo. What made it worse was that Kendrick didn’t hold his own circle to them same standards he tried to put on Drake.

NLU is undoubtedly the goat diss track. You can subjectively enjoy it or dislike it, you still not gonna find a good argument as to why it shouldn't be the goat diss
