I wanna say Ron Carter did the whole album for the most part. Used a stand up bass as well. Alot of people (non fans) don't realize how good all the baselines posted in this thread are. Rap as a whole is innovative in so many ways.
Used to listen to this album constantly, really fun to play along too
Heavy Rhyme Experience, came out in the beginning of the 1990's
