The 8 year time gap, Talia being revealed as the main villain, and Bruce's lack of intelligence will forever be a stain on the movie for me. Nolan too often forgot that Batman is as good a detective as he is a fighter, that essential component was missing most glaringly in TDKR. Atleast BB and TDK had some substantial detective aspects, without that scene of Bruce looking up where Selena lives he does zero detective work.
Word. The world's greatest detective, a man so paranoid he admitted he'd have his butler followed, the man who is always steps ahead of everyone else, couldn't figure out that Miranda Tate is actually Talia and the daughter of his mentor and one of his greatest enemies? There's a lot that happens in that movie strictly for story as opposed to good character work. They built the characters around the story as opposed to building the story around their characters
...I don't know much outside of the movies and the cartoons,so it sounds like horeshyt when sumbody says Batman Begins is better than Dark Knight Rises
?they coulda showed em in the lab for the hell of it but its not neccesary...for the story to go on Batman has to be outsmarted so fuk all that shyt about him being steps ahead of everybody.

the doc is just that good
...if people gon just randomly pick what they can and can't believe its gon be a problem...I don't remember any deal breakers in the movie bruh
