Maybe those rappers better executed what P was trying to do on their track, but that doesn't mean nas did better than him on this track

To be the finest from QB, doesn't one have to actually be from QB? Pee is that nikka tho and destroyed that track.

P used to be so nice back in the day. But :ahh: still got this. Don't get why people saying Nasir didn't stick to the topic. P was just more straightforward about the concept, Nas addressed it from a different point of view.

Both dope though.

I'm a nas fan to the fullest but am always objective when critiquing his verse(s) especially when collaboing. There was a time in history when P was truly an elite rapper, with whom Nas felt compelled to make gr8 music. This joint is amazing and both artist bring their A game. Firstly, P made Nas step up his delivery, diction and sparsity of words coz on many occasions the Queensbridge don is too verbose. However on Self Conscious Nas keeps to the concept of the track brilliantly by spitting lean and str8 to the point without excessive rumination. His navel gazing is an magnetic precis of his raP life at that point - the flash, material life, the dyk riding niccas who'll say whatever to eat any crumbs he feeds them; the difficulty of being a man of principal yet still succumbing to the temptations that comes (no hom0) with being a platinum selling raP star. 'Snakes shake your hand and got his dyk up in your wife's back'. dude already knew what was coming (no hom0) so was already preparing himself for a Ether state of mind!!! lol

'I trust myself, I cant phuk myself, when h0es leave and no weed, I still know me, just myself' ----> U absolutely canNOT get more self-conscious than that. Du?e should be studied at university. Nas's a genius
