or you know, if they really followed the Bible, the pastor would have kept his jimmy in his pants and the women in the congregation wouldn't have slept with the pastor, hence no AIDS. Let's blame religion for something that religion warns against.

Billions of people who follow a religion produces cases of people who don't actually do everything that religion said? Never happens. If you think eliminating religion will magically produce a society where everybody holds firm to their beliefs, have fun believing a delusion.

@kevm3 , I've been struggling to reconcile something for a while, breh. @Yup and I have also had exchanges about this. Can you provide some insight?

How is it that Black women are the most religious in this country, yet seem to bend to the demonic time and time, again? Do they really believe the stuff they claim to follow? Why are all of our women in the church anyway? Is it that they desire male leadership? What's the deal?

@Emperor_ReinScarf , chime in breh. We've got to get to the bottom of this stuff.

I don't believe so. But, Black women are the most "religious" in this country. So, I'm just trying to understand the paradox.

If Black men were in the churches every Sunday and essentially serving as its foundation, I'd have a hard time reconciling some of the decisions some Black men make. But, Black men, in general, don't claim to be religious; Black women do!

They don't seem to believe the very things they claim to adhere to. In my opinion, their time would be better spent volunteering or doing something else productive on Sunday mornings. Throwing money at some of these con artists in the pulpit is not doing any good for the Black community.

Following the Bible is difficult. Turning down the lusts of the flesh isn't easy. It's easy to deliver a message, but turning the temptation down when it's live and in your face is a whole different matter... even for pastors. This is especially true since many of them are extremely charismatic and are in a leadership position, hence they have the pick of the litter when it comes to females in the church.

What people have to realize is that pastors are not God. They are men and are just as, if not more capable of doing wrong than the average person. They teach the word, but the Bible also says do not call yourself teacher because you will be judged more harshly.

Another thing is that with these news stories, the ones that make the headlines are the pastors that are doing wrong. You never hear about the one who ISN'T cheating and engaged in the theatrics but is engaged in helping the poor and making sure everyone is spiritually right. It's the same thing with being black in general. You won't get on the news being a decent black dude, but be loud, act crazy and do some wrong and you'll have news cameras everywhere.

It's not some issue with black women... a lot of congregations have these problems, because when it comes down to it, no matter what philosophies a human professes, humans will be humans and most will give into the desires of the flesh at some point or the other.

And they wonder why nikkas don't go to church in the Black community. We know these nikkas are straight up pimps. I have very little respect for most modern religious leaders in the Black community.

Those nikkas are con artists, preying on weak minds. Time and time again, it has been shown that, if you want easy p*ssy, become a preacher, brehs. Black women will give you money and p*ssy at will.

yep pastors are just men, i mean you don't even have to go to school or anything to be a pastor. Just like in every profession there are good and there bad people. The bible had false prophets, people fall every day, even in the bible.
