shyts a 4.5 outta 5 to me... Tom Ford was kinda iffy but everything else was straight dope to me. Wouldnt say its jays best lyrical effort (RD & AG) but you gotta be a fool to think he wasnt spitting & flowing on this album... and easily his best produced album after BP

Don't think many people who are being honest with themselves will say this is better than The Gifted, Good Kid Mad City, or Born Sinner. The rating comes primarily from the production, for I feel Jay-Z's lyrics are hollow, shallow and not even as witty as they usually are. They really don't bring anything to the table. I wish these beats were used on someone with something more interesting to say.

Well there are the thousands of psychological analyses you did on pretty much anyone who had anything not positive to say about Jay or his music both here and on SOHH on this name and under your old doeboy screen name

If those don't count as hissy fits and outbursts (especially considering the insults and epithets you threw in with your "analyses") then nothing anyone else does. You are easily the #1 candidate for "nikka most likely to make a cross country trip to address a nikka disrespecting Jay" on SOHH for at least 7 years running

That's exactly what i was saying, the production carried him more than his lyrics did



I give the album a 7.5 out of 10 because of that, Jay is just not talking about shyt in this album, it sounds like he's just bragging the whole album which I expect from him due to his greatness but he wasn't as witty as he usually is. I expect more from him with his talent



Jay has lyrically fallen off and I say this as dude who is a fan and has him written down as the #3 on my GOAT list behind Nas and Pac it's just the truth
