I wonder how bad the preorders must have been. Drop the price and refund 10 to those that have already preordered is kinda crazy.

Outer Worlds 2 was the wrong game to test this out on.

The big AAA action/RPG games with 100's of hours of gameplay are well worth the price. I spent like 15+ months on Elden Ring, probably 250 hours in Skyrim, same with Oblivion. Witcher 3, Horizon etc., also got a lot of my time and AC Shadows is doing the same thing.

Those games are worth $80. Considering Nintendo cartridges were the same price back in the day......

The issue is going to be for shyt like Madden that releases every year with no measurable improvement....and...smaller indie games, linear movie games....will people want to pay $80 for a 20-hour game? Different proposition compared to a 200-hour open world game.

Don’t want to but Madden, 2K, Madden, Pokémon and Mario Kart need me so it is what it is.

I’m also prepared in my mind to spend the 100$ for GTA 6 and get a newer PS console if I have to.
