I will be a patient gamer from now on. These games (sans Nintendo) will go on sale. I got a backlog to get through anyway.

This is why as well I don't like these total digital stuff. At least with a physical copy back in teh day you could cop on ebay for cheap after awhile.
Nintendo games go on sale. Mario RPG retails for $59.99 and I got it for $19.99 from Gamestop. They just don't go on sale as frequently as games from other companies. Maybe once or twice a year.
