That's sounds good, but we both know it's not true. At least not for the majority of ppl criticizing her weight. Ppl aren't concerned about what might result from her unhealthy lifestyle, they're mad that she would have the audacity to be fat and arrogant. The scathing replies seem intended to bring her down to size, no pun intended. Anonymously Calling her names, insulting her looks, how is that a display of concern for anyone?

I'm offended by her audacity to be fat and arrogant. Why did she do to deserve the praise she is clearly expecting?
Its like someone who has the audacity to drop out of high school and be arrogant.
I dated a woman who was overweight, but ate healthy and went to the gym everyday. She deserved any and all praise and arrogance she got and had, especially if she was wearing something like a crop-top, which may have been hard for her. Why? Because she actually worked to improve herself and her health, as opposed to prancing around in an undeveloped state. I wouldn't call her names or anything, but I find her attempt at being publicly self-satisfied to be juvenile and a little pathetic. You want to be a role model for young Black girls who may be struggling with their weight? Go be an overweight astronaut or doctor who actually cares about her health.
She also reminds me of the women who talk about how thin I am in a condescending way, because they've lost control of their weight. I go to the gym everyday, and have a high metabolism, alongside my healthy eating, I'm not just running around skinny and shaming fat people, I work hard to be where I am.

What a lot of these "Fat Acceptance" advocates need to realize is that eventually the government isn't going to let them go on any longer.

A few years back there was a speech I listened to by a military officer that said that they're beginning to have trouble finding enough able bodied candidates that could jump right into service in the event of another global war


We are far and above a war based nation and that war machine needs fit bodies. This recent fitness craze isn't by accident and shyt like NFL play 60 and Michelle Obama's diet plan are policies that are aiming to keep a draftable population in existence.

if your first response to seeing a fat person is to question their health/ well being - you're the problem. If your first response is to feel entitled to our autonomy and time by wanting to talk to us about our bodies (or health concerns) - you're the problem. If your first response is feeling uncomfortable because our body represents something you don't want to look like/ don't want to sexualize/ don't want to humanize - you're definitely the problem.

I don't have an issue with her "confidence" which is clearly sublimated false confidence, but I don't buy into her nonsense. Like, who is talking to her about anything? No one is stopping and chatting her up about her body at all. People are likely just ignoring her and not really giving her the time of day which is why she feels to the need to post these bullshyt affirmations of body positivism all over her social media profiles.

No in shape or pretty chicks go around posting this kind of insecure nonsense (which kind of proves the point of those who she feels are "shaming" her).

It's cool to be who you are and be comfortable with it, but if you're trying to tell me how to feel about it, we have issues. For the most part, people like being around other folks who give off a good social vibe. Most people aren't going to hang around folks who are terribly lame (unless they are lame) or low-rent. Being out-of-shape just happens to be one of the biggest social flags. It can be overcome with an amazing personality, but it's still an uphill battle.

I'm a kind of "everyone needs to live by my universal standards" person, because the world would be 1000x better that way, but I understand your point, her existence on it's own doesn't effect me. My problem is more of having to deal with her irrational attitude because its shoved in my face by these weirdo "fat empowerment" people.
