I've had more issues with drunk people on a plane than an overweight person.

The point is that YOU would never allow yourself to end up in such poor health. YOU would never allow yourself to be big. YOU would never associate the need to diet/work out with racism. YOU would never entertain--nevermind date--a similar size man.

What she is doing is kicking up every excuse under the sun for everybody else to not "fat shame" her while ignoring her dire health situation.

If she truly felt good about herself then the naysayers wouldn't matter. Whether people are concerned about her health or just disgusted by the way she looks, they're entitled to their opinions. If she shamed herself for being lazy and gluttonous like she's trying to shame others for thinking negatively of her laziness and gluttony, then maybe she wouldn't be so fat in the first place.
