Be yourself is good advice for people who don't express themselves and believe in themselves with lots of potential.
If the problem isn't confidence based then it doesn't help

You’re a retard. You’re basically saying that identity is a social construct. And you’re using astrology to back your theories. Sorry I don’t debate delusional people
I just explained to you how to discover yourself without using a natal chart or social constructs. You’re obviously lost bro. You’re not my problem though so God bless

Good thing I never asked you for any advice . Who quoted who first? Like I said you’re delusional

First of all which version of myself should I be the version when I’m with my family, at a job interview, etc.

Second if being themself worked they wouldn’t be struggling with whatever they struggling with.

I feel like when someone gives you generic advice like this or “grind harder”, “:stack that money”, or “keep ya head up”.

It’s just a socially polite way of saying Idgaf.

I don’t agree.

If you look at most of the people. They spend more time being what they think people expect them to be (the way they dress, things they buy, carry themselves when no one really cares or will remember, etc).

Where is only one or should be only one version of you.

It depends..

I thought be yourself was advice to not try to be something your not.

You gotta recognize though and do an honest assessment of yourself like the apostle Paul said.

Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us-ROMAN 12:3

How do you know what most people are doing. Are you God?

I was thinking the same thing just the other day. Every person has a minimum of three versions of themselves: the person they are when they're alone, the person they are to their closest friends and family, and the person they present to the world. Those things obviously have some overlap, but they will never overlap 100%.

When you're alone you might like to fart whenever and wherever you want, but I hope you're not doing that shyt in public. :scust:
