From 12-16 I didn't talk to my mom due to the constant moving. Me and my mom now have a decent relationship i'm 29

Exactly. Never mind the fact that the 2 houses and several cars his parents do have were all paid for by bean. He brought each of his sisters houses and cars as well. His mom and dad are not broke or hurting for money, Kobe grew up in a wealthy home. Lets not forget the reason why kobe's dad was able to coach the sparks was because of kobe. shyt he got his mom and dad specially made 98 all star ring and a 00 championship ring. they aint even show up to one if the games against philly in 01. dudes acting like bean doesnt do anything for his fam and they are broke and poor. they already own 2 houses, this one seems like a luxury, not a necessity, and he still offered to pay for it. Regardless, I'd be pissed if my mom ever tried to sell any of my state awards or honors or trophies. I don't see how you can do that as a mother anyway.

The espn article said he has given them millions over his career. Either way, the issue isn't whether or not he should buy his mom a 3rd house bc he clearly he agreed to do it. It's whether or not she has a right to auction his teenage high school and early laker day accomplishments and achievements and she doesn't IMO. It's still his stuff, and it's messed up that his mom would give away valuable items like it means nothing to him
