Beans at his best is top 10 rapper potential so this ain't far fetched. He's traded bars with the best and has outshined lyrical heavyweights and GOATs on records.

Biggie was entertaining as hell and a natural born genius on the mic but his street tales ain't as believable as the ones that came outta Beanie's mouth, nor were they as poetic.

Of course he lacks the cultural impact and influence BIG has, and he doesn't have albums as revered as BIG's 2, he still is on that elite tier as a lyricist/emcee. Biggie might be on a higher level than him as an artists but NOT lyrically.

P.S. The B.Coming is a classic album, fukk what y'all think.

I agree Beans cant do the commercial shyt thats a good argument against him,but like i said Biggie cant do the poetic shyt like Beans can,he cant give you a Nothing Like It,or a verse like Beans gave us on What We Do...also Biggie cant give you songs with pure emotion and substance like Feel it In the Air,Still Got Love For You,moms praying the list goes on.

and for the side question i like Bizzy better overall as a rapper and for versatility, but both they debuts are personal classics

I give yall the fact biggie could go back n forth from the raw to commercial shyt making him versatile...but for some reason yall not giving beans the same credit for being able to go from raw shyt,to making emotional heartfelt shyt,poetic shyt,deep shyt.

Yall picking and choosing here,why is there more value in biggie being able to do pop/commercial records...but no credit for beans being able to do the kimd of records that Biggie cant?especially considering Biggie had Puff who was mostly responsible for those hits,and made hits for many others...i agree Beans cant do it,but im not sure Biggie could have without Puffs navigation...but ill give it to em anyway,vocally id say hes more built.

You like raw emotion in your music. I get where you coming from, biggie was heading in that direction with songs like sky's the limit, it was only a matter of time. Its plain as day that beans is better than big in those categories(raw emotion/poetry) biggie more like blockbuster film in Hollywood and beans is like the independent classic film.

Beans emotion on Mom's Praying was some heart felt shyt. One of the few records that gives a dude that lump in the throat. That's where BIG fell short.



I think bizzy is better than kray but not musically tho.

I agree in a authentic voice that matches the persona,but im not sure how you can say Biggie voice dont do that?he sound every bit as ruthless as he needs to sound on the raw shyt,and every bit as smooth as he needs to sound when he giving you the player/don image...Beans is definitley more well rounded but his catalogue is more well rounded....beans more well rounded than Jay and nas too,im just not sure why this is what tipped the scale to put Beans over Biggie....when voice ways Biggie has strengths that outweigh Beans voice imo....its other areas where Beans is clearly better,but im not seeing that in the voice category.

The word I was looking for was "empathy". Its probably a better descriptor of what I was tryna say than " relatable voice".
