Beanie Sigel isn't like Meek Mill, this track is ok, it has some bars, but it doesn't show to illustrate the differences, which is how a serious track should be crafted....Meek could have got Drake, had he just drawn the line between the streets, and the suburbs, and taken his side. Now, Meek is the guy who cried in court on a six month bid, and Beanie went to trial wearing pinstripe suits and fedoras in an almost perverse, self destructive mockery of the court system, the dude he shot, took the stand, and took back his testimony.
Beanie should make a track that doesn't so much 'expose' Meek, just makes it clear exactly who is fronting and who's not. Because this, isn't cutting it, in the street, or music side of things. And honestly, I don't need any of this nonsense, I just want music from Sigel, but this is the reality of a dude who refuses to grow and change, unrepentant gangsters end up in their 40's, trying to cut in on someones action, too many bids, too much lost income and assets, and then the credibility starts to slip. That's where we are at with Sigel.
It sounds like he recorded this while balls deep in somebody. It was a little distracting, but I'm wondering if he is for real with this or just talking (the whole song is threatening to fukk up Meek). This isn't the late 90s to the mid 2000s anymore, and a lot of rappers now a days treat "beef" like it's one big ass game or publicity stunt. That punch must have really hurt his pride (especially with that picture floating on the net til the end of time), but I'm not sure stooping to this level is the right way to go about it. Beanie is a grown ASS man now, maybe he should send a younger family member or friend to get in Meek's ass, if it is that serious, and what is he planning on doing about the guy that actually punched him? This whole situation devolved real fast.
