He was and is one of the greats. If anyone puts him in their personal top 5 I'd never argue against it. Even if he didn't go back to jail when he did, his falloff was coming around that time anyway. Right after The B.Coming the game took such a drastic turn that Beans could've never adjusted to. At least he didn't have years of dropping music that just didn't connect in what would of still been considered his prime years, and at that time it wouldn't have connected with audiences the way his music did for years. So now we're left with a "what if" scenario instead of him falling off in front of our eyes.

Nah beans routinely washed Hov, I can't think of many tracks where hov got the best of him.

Always said he was the Pippen to Jay's Jordan, he brought out the best in Jay, but at the same time even Jay's best had problems keeping up with beans
