That's wild that's all they could get for him. Teams must really be rating McCarthy high as hell cause if I'm a team with a bad QB I'd be all over Fields for that low of a pick.

I think the problem is you have to run a very specific offense with Fields and have certain personnel to make it work. Nobody wants to shift their entire offensive philosophy for a QB thats probably going to be ass anyway.

They have one of the worst RBs in the league, an okay O line, 1 (overrated) receiver in Pickens
They need work beyond a QB.
The coordinator is ass though
I highly doubt that Russ would have picked Pitt had he known that they’d be bringing in Fields.
