Not trying to dunk on dude more, but cats talking about "...gets to learn behind..."

Bruh, you talk like that about rookie QB's. :deadrose:

A 4th year player is expected to have figured it out by now if you're going to dump $40 mil/year on em. People are actually saying that after 2 years of learning under Russ, he should be ready?

So by year 6, at 27 years old, he's going to finally produce what you expect a 2nd year QB to do? That's low key embarrassing.

I don't know the last time I heard of that as most NFL fans would bury their QB at this point. I'm happy Fields has such dedicated supporters, but objectively that's pretty wild.

Once I took the veil off it was obvious you got to move on from dude. nikkas think he needs dj moore, keenan allen, and mhj. A all pro OL. Ben johnson calling plays. Then and only then have you “built” around fields. These dudes got a love affair with Fields its weird. Never seen someone get so much leeway for being decent

I held out hope all year dude would flip the switch but he really could only do work against bad teams and his 4q numbers are horrid. Half his tds came in two games against bum ass den/was :dead:

So should Bears inability to develop a qb.

Thry have failed rime and time again. Worst franchise in all of football in this area. So I’m supposed to believe their evaluation?
what evaluation? the Bears valued Fields higher than any team in the league it appears lol

Purdy got all that and getting more. Why can’t Fields get the same treatment. Dude had one year with non sub par talent.

you can blame the old front office for that. Poles smartly tore down the team to rebuild a bad, old roster. Like I’ve said, Justin’s timing here was bad

Bears turned a better offer cause that team had a well established starter
Only team I can think of is the Eagles @B1G_controversy

Still surprised the Seahawks didnt make a move.

It was clearly Howie that offered Chicargo at least a 5th rounder

We're a team that does good business with Chicargo...meanwhile Pit keeps fleecing them :hhh:

Should've traded him to the Blk qb capital!

Honestly, kinda wish they would've done right by him and traded him to ATL or Minny right away...Bears clearly didn't want to keep him in the conference

In a perfect world, Fields ends up in Minnesota next offseason to team up w/ Jettas, Addison & Hock while getting to play Chicargo twice a yr

Once you have to pay Purdy that Avengers shyt is out the window. Pace left the team in cap hell. Poles has done a great job so far fixing that and even got JF good enough tools to evaluate him fairly last year.

You cant pay a middling qb 40-50 mill when someone hands you the number one pick with one of the best prospects ever. Yall making 0 sense.

nothing about Atlantas actions suggest they were interested in Fields. They wanted Kirk, they got Kirk. Fields was a backup plan and we don’t even know if he was backup plan A, B, C or D for them

it’s not even clear if Minny was interested, they are clearly focused on drafting a QB

Believe the other teams' evaluations that wouldn't give up much for him.

Oh I know. I’m not as high on Purdy as other fans. It would be great to see a breh get that treatment..just once.

I mean for that to happen the team would have to already be stacked and you add a black qb from the 7th round. Doesnt seem like its going to happen too often :mjlol:

Purdy isnt a god or anything but its obvs hes an elite game manager. Earlier in the year I was like he would be food on this bears team, now not so sure. He gets the ball out quickly and has a short memory and is fairly mobile. Probs same or slightly better record with him this year
