A 6th round pick in return? Got damn, and yet Gardner Minchew is starting somewhere next season? :mindblown:

For all the wild plays Fields had during his time in Chicago, these 2 will always remind me why it was time to move on...

Dude was always an "almost" there or a "play" away player. What was even more weird is how Bears fans would watch shyt like this and defend it or make excuses. Yea, he is capable of breaking open a 50-60 yard run for a TD. But it's the gimme plays in crunch time where he just continuously had mishaps. And I understand the bad play calling to an extent, but in too many scenarios in 4th quarters, when it was just time to make a fukking play he just couldn't do it.

Fields has had mishaps, but you could've used better examples to prove your point than these two plays. Yeah he missed a throw on that first one, but he threw a TD on the very next down. Pretty sure the Bears scored 40 in that game, including a TD to Moore that iced the game after Washington started to claw back.

That run he didn't convert, you can chalk that up to a good defensive play or maybe Mooney not blocking well.

In 2017 they kept lame duck John Fox, drafted Trubisky and he was learning a new offense a year later.

In 2021 they kept lame duck Nagy, drafted Fields and he was learning a new offense a year later.

In 2024 they kept lame duck Eberflus, will draft Williams and he will be learning a new offense a year later.

:francis:

Seems more like organizational directive than Poles. They’re gonna fukk up Caleb too…

The browns game n the vikings game are the ones u look back on like yeah he aint it. While its the season ur trying to be optimistic but in hindsight he put up 12 points with like 4 picks…

If Caleb busts with Waldron and the skill players we have then he was busting any where.

JF has to rebound and be a top ten player in the next 5 years for all this caping from
nikkas who arent even bears fans :dead:

That Washington game was the one where it was very low scoring IIRC. That was 2022.

Prime example of the bullshyt I'm talking about.

And I'm sure they didn't get a TD in that Washington game after that terrible throw. They settled for a FG. That was that Thursday night game in the 2022 season where they lost to the Commanders and the broadcast team shytted on the Bears offense in the post game. Not this past season.

Justin is more than capable of making one guy miss and overcoming a missed block. It was a shoelace tackle on 4th and 1 with the game and their season on the line. Make the fukking play. See, that's the difference between a guy that's HIM and a guy who ain't. After all the plays with his legs we've seen Fields make, ain't no way he shouldn't have made that 1st down. I'm sorry

Breh is anti clutch. Eyes and stats back it up.

Here we all like numbers right

Check his 4q stats, and his trailing ones.

You want us to pass on Williams for this?

When trailing in the 4th sub 50% completion n 0/3 td/int….

What are we doing in here :mindblown:

Or they brought in Waldron with him having a line to being the HC if Eberflus is fired

Not trying to dunk on dude more, but cats talking about "...gets to learn behind..."

Bruh, you talk like that about rookie QB's. :deadrose:

A 4th year player is expected to have figured it out by now if you're going to dump $40 mil/year on em. People are actually saying that after 2 years of learning under Russ, he should be ready?

So by year 6, at 27 years old, he's going to finally produce what you expect a 2nd year QB to do? That's low key embarrassing.

I don't know the last time I heard of that as most NFL fans would bury their QB at this point. I'm happy Fields has such dedicated supporters, but objectively that's pretty wild.

Same guys will tell you J Law a bust, but Fields just need a year or two to learn :laff:

I cant believe how overrated Fields is :pachaha:

Imagine stanning black Daniel Jones. At least Jones won a playoff game and never has had a proper WR1. Fields hasnt done a thing, even statistically
This. He had legit weapons in Chicago last season and still was obviously mid / trash. He low-key has less weapons in Pittsburgh.

that slow release and slow processing of the field doomed him.

Can only have one of those negatives.

Impossible to succeed with both.

Maybe sitting behind Russell Wilson allows him to see the game with new eyes
