Prime example of the bullshyt I'm talking about.

And I'm sure they didn't get a TD in that Washington game after that terrible throw. They settled for a FG. That was that Thursday night game in the 2022 season where they lost to the Commanders and the broadcast team shytted on the Bears offense in the post game. Not this past season.

Justin is more than capable of making one guy miss and overcoming a missed block. It was a shoelace tackled on 4th and 1 with the game and their season on the line. Make the fukking play. See, that's the difference between a guy that's HIM and a guy who ain't. After all the plays with his legs we've seen Fields make, ain't no way he shouldn't have made that 1st down. I'm sorry
Wrong Washington game. I’ll take that. I do remember after that game, they went on to average close to 30 points for 5 straight games. Defense allowed 31 points though, and that’s only because the one game the Bears won in that stretch, the final score was 33-14. In the 4 losses, the Bears averaged 28.75 while the Bears defense allowed 35.5.

Is Caleb coming into a much better situation than Justin, yay or nay??

Is this supposed to be a gotcha because rhe GM is doing his job?:dead:

Them stats are from last fukking year nikka fukk wrong with yaw. No one is forgoing Williams to keep the qb attached to those stats

Why is ur response to black and white numbers to move the goalpost to some shyt that doesnt matter?

Same guys will tell you J Law a bust, but Fields just need a year or two to learn :laff:
shyt, same crowd already saying Bryce Young is finished and laughing at the Panthers because their team fleeced them so badly.

Difference is:
Bryce Young already has as many 4th quarter comebacks and game winning drives as Fields does.
Also has the same amount of 300 yard passing games.

If Bryce Young is a horrible passer, what does that say if he's had a better season passing as a rookie in a horrible situation vs any 3 of Fields's seasons?

Give Bryce Young DJ Moore, Cole Kmet, Darnell Mooney, etc. and compare their numbers.

Bryce Young is in a far worse situation and has done better. Yet they're the first to laugh at dude. Think about that for a second.

I really really wanted jf to work out but once the season ended and we got pick one time to be objective and not a stan for one nikka :manny:

Rubbishky had better numbers than fields. Let that sink in

Bears fan love rhat nikka so much they already like caleb gotta take us to the playoffs throw for 4k 30 tds etc to not be a bust. When JF has not come close to either of these :dwillhuh: they fans of fields not the bears

Breh is anti clutch. Eyes and stats back it up.

Here we all like numbers right

Check his 4q stats, and his trailing ones.

You want us to pass on Williams for this?

When trailing in the 4th sub 50% completion n 0/3 td/int….

What are we doing in here :mindblown:
This is honestly the worst part for me and the main reason they needed to move on.

Being clutch is 100% the biggest factor in your team getting that Super Bowl win. Play-Off coaches start managing the game the second the coin toss is determined.

shyt, many teams' game plan comes down to one of these usually. Coaches know it:
  • A: Blow them out if they see the opportunity right from the start. Should be an easy W. Simply the better team and have a favorable matchup.
  • B: Put them away when they can. A few good bounces can blow the game wide open and they just got to capitalize on it. Can cruise from there.
  • C (final option): Keep the game close so they can get the ball last and win it then. The other team is playing their best football, they need to play their's, don't fold.

The mass majority of Play-Off games come down to C because both teams play 4 quarters (which is why they're Play-Off teams). You hear it all the time: whoever has the ball last will win this game. In order to do so you not only need the QB who can make the plays on that final drive, but the QB who isn't shaky and won't make a 4th quarter mistake/can't get the first down and throws the plan off midway through the 4th quarter.

A lot of tight Play-Off games come down to coaches trying to be the team who has the ball last so they need to make sure the QB executes every single down they need to. Only the clutch of the clutch are capable of that.

Even in his comeback against the vikings it was because he fumbled after the defense completely dominated with 4 picks. Very feast or famine player.

I wouldn't say much better but it's better

But remember, Fields didn't do that well with that situation minus a couple free agent changes

But remember, the Bears had Allen Robinson, David Montgomery and Jimmy Graham when Fields game. And they had just gone to the playoffs with Trubisky the year before.

It's not a gotcha moment...Chicargo failed Justin

They are working to not fail Caleb by signing Swift, trading for Keenan Allen...in addition to the 2 moves they made last yr, drafting an OL in first rd & trading for DJ Moore

Giving up on a young QB without the right infrastructure to support him all along is despicable...esp when it's a Blk QB who doesn't get the same rope as his cac counterparts

One good season this yr would've secured Justin's financial future...now he'll be accepting bargain bin contracts the rest of his career while Kirk Cousins is on the road to $400M

He is...

The thing is that Fields had 2 other seasons of starting for Chicago AFTER they course corrected and started building a quality roster:pachaha:.

He had ample time to show his mettle, and he did...which resulted in his ass getting replaced by a #1 pick:mjlol:.

Chicago did right by him somewhat by getting him plenty of weapons, which is much more than other failed QBs can say.

Like another poster said, Bryce Young has looked better than Fields ever did, and he came into a worse situation.

Justin Fields will be the Steelers starter before the 2024 season is over.

Not that he is really great. Just that Russell Wilson isn't very good anymore.

The browns game n the vikings game are the ones u look back on like yeah he aint it. While its the season ur trying to be optimistic but in hindsight he put up 12 points with like 4 picks…

If Caleb busts with Waldron and the skill players we have then he was busting any where.

JF has to rebound and be a top ten player in the next 5 years for all this caping from
nikkas who arent even bears fans :dead:
It's still a defensive head coach and a dysfunctional ownership. I'm not absolving Caleb completely, just noting the situation he's being put in isn't favorable. This is bigger than just the skill players he'll have to work with.
