mac jones and justin fields passing numbers are pretty much identical
for all the crying fields fans do about the weapons, mac jones weapons are/were far worse. dudes #1 was kendrick bourne

but the resulting analysis is that mac jones is trash and justin fields was good but not put in a great situation :pachaha:

Mac was serviceable in year 1. Zach showed a bit this year. I agree Fields ceiling is highest.

Do ppl forget the ineptitude of the Chicargo's OC at the beginning of the year

Fields was the one who got DJ going after everyone complained about the offense

Fields has more physical gifts than Zach and Mac

So apparently there were better offers for Fields from at least 4 others teams but he asked for the Steelers specifically :wow:

Hol' up.

Last season was not even close...not comparable at all. Granted Fields had a better situation last year than Mac Jones, Jones has been regressing since his 1st year. Each year got worse. Fields was the opposite. One QB was trending up while the other trending down. I'm not even talking about the rushing because it would be an obliteration. The only time Mac Jones was better (stat wise) was in his rookie year.

I was talking about career numbers. And I specifically mentioned passing numbers. Obviously the rushing ability makes Fields have much higher ceiling, but saying Fields have shown flashes as a passer but Mac Jones haven't, aren't quite correct.

When it comes to certain passing deficiencies both of these qbs have, the weapons and coaching etc comes up a lot with fields but not with mac jones

Just had this discussion in the madden discord.. nikkas talking bout Fields is better. Mac lead his team to the offs with a much shyttier team

Dudes see fields and say "fast, strong arm" and go with it. Like qb's don't need a shyt load of other skills

Mac Jones has never impressed me in any way. He's a traditional passer who is ass today.

Mans said this like Fields was the trainer or something. He’s the bloody QB I’d hope he can “get him going”:heh: The delusion from Fields apologists is hilarious

The OC wasn't calling enough plays for DJ...it was a dumbed down offense

Justin voiced frustration, the offense opened up, Justin started getting the rock to DJ (Philly kid btw) & the. He mysteriously transforms into pro bowl caliber receiver

The OC failed Justin last season

I'm an Eagles fan and I can call a spade a spade

Lost in all of this, no one is mentioning that fields is in a grade A situation for a failed first round QB.

Whether it be Darnold, Mitch trubisky, baker, etc this isnt new. If you failed at your first team you rarely just walk into a starting gig. But what you ask for is to be a backup to an aging QB or a fringe one. Russell is both. Yet yall still complaining. You should be excited to go compete you non athlete ass nggas :pachaha:

Running from the grind. And sadly it’s a reoccurring theme bc he ducked the smoke at Georgia too. :sas2:
