Tell me the truth ...do you actually watch OKC games cause I don’t think you do

You get called out with photo proof that you were wrong, and now you're gonna question if I watch games?

I throw visual receipts in your face with game tape, and that's your reply?

Watched plenty last year. Not as many this year, but you're going to have to make an argument that something has changed rather than just going with an ad hominem attack? :comeon:

If seen Melo take rebound from Players too is he stat padding :stopitslime:

Bron looks for easy assist is that stat padding :russ:

Yes, some players sometimes stat pad. Certainly.

* I have sometimes seen some players fight their own teammates for rebounds (hell, to be honest I've done it).
* In 30 years of watching NBA ball I have never seen a pg have his big man box out without going for rebounds all season long so he can pad his stats with uncontested rebounds

* I have sometimes seen some players sag on defense to get easy rebounds instead.
* In 30 years of watching NBA ball I have never seen a guard consistently stop under the basket, facing away from his man, throughout the game even in clutch possessions and the playoffs

* I have sometimes seen some players work harder for assists than they did for their own score
* In 30 years of watching NBA ball I have never seen someone so drastically change his game depending on how far away he was from 10 assists

Name the other players who got called out by their own coach for chasing triple-doubles when the game was over
Name the other players who went to the scorer's table to argue for his 10th rebound because he touched the ball and thought it should count as a tip
Name the other players who managed to hit exactly 10 or 11 assists twenty times in a season but only stopped on 9 assists like twice

Russ has spent the last two years chasing triple doubles harder than anyone I've ever seen. And his team has ONE playoff game won to show for it.

KD actually explained this as Russ being able to push the ball faster than anyone

Nothing even fishy about 80% of the rebounds in the video ...did I think his helix teammates purposely helped him average a triple double last year? Yes do I think he put that above the team itself? No

Russ has had off-and-on problems with stat-padding since he came in the league. Scott Brooks even publicly called him out on it after a game way back in his 2nd season.

How can you say stat padding not on his mind when there are receipts of him calling to the scorekeepers to give him a bs 10th board in a game?

It just wasn't as big a deal before because it didn't become an every-game thing until 2015 or so and then got worse every year. That's how a guy whose rebound numbers hadn't moved an inch his first five seasons suddenly doubled and then tripled his defensive rebounds (while his offensive rebounding didn't budge).

And last year Westbrook straight up contested fewer shots than anyone in the NBA who played at least 30 minutes a game. Dead last, and it wasn't even close. How are you as athletic as Westbrook and yet contesting fewer shots than anyone? And it's not like his defense was so good that his man just didn't get shots off - nearly 80% of the shots taken by Westbrook's defensive responsibility are uncontested.

nikka you went to YouTube and looked up Westbrook stat pating lmaooo

No, I just copy-and-pasted that from an old post from last year.

When did this happen

For the first claim:

"You don't do that. The game is over with," Atlanta coach Larry Drew said. "The game is over with. You've got the ball, you run the clock out. Just that plain and simple."

"When you've got the game won, you run the clock out," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said. "Russell knows how I feel about situations like that, and it was a mistake.”

Yet he still did it again here:

For the second claim:

Russell Westbrook got a "triple-double" last night on this "rebound"

Steven Adams admitted he goes out of his way to make sure Russ gets his rebounds. Nothing more needs to be said, but of course yall know the game flow better than Russ's own teammates

He's there forward my nikka he kind of has to go for the rebounds. Your point guard camping in the middle 10 feet away from his primary guy fight his bigs for a rebound is a lot different than your forward boxing out his guy and going after a rebound. You want your bigs on alert and going after every board that's common sense my nikka.

You are a hater.

Thunder win 80% of their games when russ gets a triple double.

Like another dude in here said he stat pads every game when he's successful its cuz the other team missed enough shots for him to get his 10+ rebounds. When a dude is tryna create every assist for his team and he gets 13+ in a game it's cuz his teammates hit shots. You might say well that's a good thing right? Not necessarily, when you have guys like PG, Adams and melo who can still do a little your team would be more efficient if you didn't try to create every assist. He's been a side show for the past couple of seasons. One of the reasons why PG hasn't played great this year is cuz it's hard for him to get a good feel when he's playing with Westbrook. Is he in assist mode, scoring mode? OKC games have no flow to them and completely unpredictable and it all stems with Westbrook having to get his numbers.
