that they are really talented and make good music?

:beli:

wow what a great recommendation.

i can say the same for about 200 other groups.

the only thing i don't like about them is they have/had the same early-mid 80's flow even to this day. they haven't changed it up much over all these years, it's cool but i can only listen to so much of it at a time.

what gets me is how with any other old school group, the narrative is usually "their style is outdated", even if said group actually updated their style.

but with the beastie boys, whose style was already outdated before they even came out, you dont hear any of that.

white priveledge.

The thing about them is that even if their "flow" and "delivery" are dated, they've always been progressive with their beat selection. That's what always kept their music fresh. I don't think anybody would argue that they were the greatest "rappers" or "lyricists", but people will argue that they made some great quality music.

their beats are just as :flabbynsick:.

their the only old school rappers that are allowed to be old school. so much so, that their style predates their own existence.

its white priveledge breh.

Not familiar with their entire discography...do they have any songs where they spit 3 separate 16 bar verses? If so what are they?
Start with "Professor Booty"
