I am still disgusted with how blacks voted for senile old Biden. Don't they see how the dude can barely string proper sentences together. Black people as a community gotta pay attention to what the fukk they are seeing on CNN and MSNBC, they are just following the trend of these rich white folks that wanna tell everybody what to do and how to think.

Older black people especially in the South are more conservative. Bernie is too much for them. Biden is considered a moderate or moderate liberal with ideas that can actually pass Congress.

Besides being Obama's VP, Biden fits their ideology much more than Bernie does.

I spent 2019 debunking/refuting the lies and disinformation referenced in this quote..with evidence.
I gave people the benefit of the doubt that they had little or no contact/interaction with international Blacks, and therefor more likely to believe what they heard. Reasonable people were able to see the holes in the lies and misleading info.
I will concede that most of it was through social media. But as a new yorker there is some truth to it. As an ados from washington dc there is some truth to it. And even some houston Ados members point out the truth to this
For others, the same myths got repeated anyway. Willingness to believe proven falsehoods about other groups has nothing to with self actualization. Has more to do with looking for a villain.
What challenged me was the fact that aframs being distinctively afram in cultural orientation was divisive within itself. Alot of people saw this and went through

By default an immigrant into a country will have contact/interaction with native born members of their new country. They will see and be aware of a wide spectrum of people from that group. When I corrected myths and stereotypes about AAs, it was framed in a way that resonated with the person's experience and they fell back.

I have enough intellectual respect, maybe too much in this respect, to think that blacks who both- go through the channels of being immigrants and being black. Would have enough self awareness to know that their circumstance was largely shaped by ADOS as it pertains to the west and America. YOU CANT LEAVE ALL BLACK COUNTRIES WITHOUT KNOWING THIS FISRT ?.And if you did than what does that say about your potential partnership? If this is absent than what do aframs have left pertaining to non ados blacks.
Say an immigrant says that AAs are all (insert negative stereotype)....I can remind them that the mayor of the city they lived in when they first got here, the city council members, school principals,police chief, business &civic leaders, leaders of churches were most likely all AAs. Then I ask them to repeat the stereotype again
Theres no way you should come to this country as a black anything and think this. Subsequently a culture that has been here for four hundred years cant afford time to teach you this when you should know this yourself coming into the west

Even if that's the case, Black wealth has been on the decline for 30+ years, while everyone else is progressing. The reality is that we're an economic bottom caste, and we need trans-formative policies to get us out from that. I'm not saying, you can't feel good about seeing your niece graduate college or witness a Black business thrive, but the occasional feel good stories don't hide the fact that we're regressing. We gotta own up to that reality and demand change politically(reparations; set asides exclusively for ADOS, etc) to fix this.
