Losing faith in these things is a very deep and personal experience and is very painful. You have not lost any of yourself in the process and you have not denied yourself access to yourself at all. If anything on your religious and spiritual journey youve begun to run rather than walk and there are still times for both. You may find a stronger interpretation of the bible, if you like stricter order in the abrahamic sense you may get into Islam and stuff.

Time works siginificantly different for black folks and this may take ur whole life to figure out. In the meantime go outside and really begin to appreciate how Divine It All Is. Appreciate that previously before you were wrapped up in all the verses, you have, by association, an excellent memory which will only be expanded as you continue to learn more and more importantly lesrn more about yourself. It is time to research further into history as other posters have alluded to so you can find what is best for you. Be compassionate with yourself in this trying time. Lick ur wounds my guy but when the sunshine falls on u and u feel that warmth, literally do this

How is the Bible a book of fairly tales when it's coming true? How did the Bible know about the mark of the beast thousands of years in advance? The bible is nothing astrological allegory. It's full of personifications and anthropormorphizations of constellations and their movement patterns. What exactly about that story is eerily similar to the Bible other than people being crucified? SEVERAL were crucified during a military campaign and three of them happened to be some people who he knew. One of them survived. In the Bible none survived crucifixion. Jesus died and was resurrected.

The fact that the one of the most trusted sources for Jesus crucifixtion has a personal story almost the exact same as the account in the Bible

The fact that there were three men involved

The fact that two men died but one recovered “ rose again”

The fact the Joseph of Armithea went to Pilate to take Jesus down from the cross for Burial sounds almost exactly like Josephus Bar Matthias going to Titus to to take the men down from the cross to attend to his acquaintance

Remember this is the same man who historians look towards as historical validation of Jesus his account of Jesus predates the Biblical account itself so he could’ve literally made the whole thing up based off what he saw changed the names in the story and then spread the word to the Hebrews in the city

The Bible purports itself to be a historical accurate, but it's not. Certain Biblical claims can be verified through various means but numerous supernatural claims in the Bible have no historical proof to support it. Learning about the construction of the present day document we call the Bible and realizing the historical inaccuracies and false claims made in it it caused me to reject the faith. Don't ignore what logic and the lack of evidence are telling you OP

Know that man has tampered and altered the text but at the core the teachings are still valuable so take from them what you can.

Ultimately your beliefs and faith will have to be founded in enlightenment and not tied to a denomination.
