Honestly non Black Metro bus drivers is a relatively new thing.

Other than Administration and mechanics Metro workers have been almost exclusively Black.

I dont think Ive ever seen a white metro worker.

Unless you count metro transit police

shouldn't they put the most experienced drivers on the hardest routes? that's the city for you.

No, because jobs like that are heavily based on seniority.

The more years you have, the better options you got. So of course the newer drivers are gonna get the worst schedules. They gotta do the jobs the more senior guys don't want to do.

my father retired from the CTA and my moms still works for them..
in the hood too at that, but she doesn't complain about the passengers, she complains more about other drivers on the road
