Being a City Bus Driver has to be a miserable job

For the same pay, I'd rather drive the bus than sitting in an office.

I can't' remember the last time I talked to a supervisor or upper management. I come in to work sign in say what's up to the other drivers get my bus number and other shyt then bounce...I actually love what I do for the first time and the money is good. Passengers are not that bad it's the other drivers that piss you off..lol

The worst has to be when them school kids get on. I remember riding it back in the day and them little nikkas would be making so much noise, blasting music, fighting, kicking people, etc. The bus driver would hold the damn bus up until they stop. WOAT transportation

Honestly non Black Metro bus drivers is a relatively new thing.

Other than Administration and mechanics Metro workers have been almost exclusively Black.

I saw a youngn spit a lougie right in this bus drivers face and run off the bus. Youre dealing with all walks of life it is a interesting yet dangerous job.

Very....the union that is supposed to work towards your advantage is really teamed up with your transit company. I've learned this from personal experience and don't miss it one bit.
