Not really the game has definitely changed. Right now I'm in college and I'm a nobody to the vast majority of students. In high school I could have ate off my looks, physique, height along with my mysteriousness. I went to a pretty big high school but I was probably one of the most handsome dudes in the school (no homo and not trying to brag just stating the facts).

But in college women have access to so many different types of dudes, plus with apps like tinder popping average and below average chicks can be picky af and even have dudes above her looks wise competing for her attention.

College is a beast unto itself, but I still think if you are a male 9/10, that if you put your bid in with 7's and 8's, you will fare well even with minimal game. Joining clubs and having classes with chicks will amplify that moreso than if an average looking guy did that.

Plus, once you go to a party or club, the looks again play in your favor, if you are in the top percentiles.

Now if a male 9/10 only shoots for female 9/10's he might be in trouble, because at that point you start to compete with status and/or money. Most of the bad chicks I knew of in college dealt with super popular frat dudes, athletes, or miscellaneous ballers from out of town. For the ones that didn't, you had to be in the right place at the right time.
