Being an introvert appreciation/unappreciation thread

I think the complaining is a bit warranted when you take into consideration how introverted traits are often ostracized and misinterpreted by the general public.

I can open up my facebook right now and see a news feed of people I know are extroverts complaining about their friends/partner/kids/job/neighbors/haters.

Can go to work and listen to the same shyt. Or go outside and deal with people who are socially retarded but don't keep to themselves.

I was specifically talking about intronerds complaining about extroverts.

People often confuse introversion with shyness, Yes while it is true that many introverted people are shy it still doesn't change the fact that they are introverted. It's about your personality and how you energize and recharge yourself. Extroverts charge themselves from social interactions, events and from the outside. Introverts charge themselves by solitary activities and hobbies from the inside and are drained from social gatherings.


I know that for myself personally my shyness doesn't change that I'm an introvert because even when I find myself around close family and friends that I'm very comfortable around I'm still my same introverted self no matter what. Yeah I'm more outgoing and social around family and friends but after a while I always find the need to make time for myself and be alone. I can't help it it's just who I am.


So I think even if I wasn't shy I'd still be the same person regardless.
