No matter how you try to make it so, it is not synonymous nor equivalent nor comparable.

It's not a legitimate Civil Rights issue

I missed where CIVIL rights pertained to only skin color. :snoop:

Its like CIVIL is another word for black or something :duck:

I can understand that it could be psychologically harder to be honest... i heard another gay comedian make the point that while yes, you couldn't hide being black, but you got to go home and be who you were around people just like you and got a chance to release some of that stress with your family and friends who all share the same experience. Most homosexuals don't have that.

You got a point, thanks

all discrimination is in the same ballpark, but no the struggles are not the same. there are some similiraties, though. such as people viewing both groups as subhuman and an abomination to god. many places will also fire/not hire you for both of these reasons. an interesting argument about segregation could be made, too. and while it does not even begin to equate with african slavery, gay people are being captured and murdered the world over because of who they are, not what they do. gay struggle is not the same as the black struggle, but i still think it's ironic to ignore the parallels. while i respect your well stated opinion, OP it's sounds like you want a monopoly on discrimination.
shut the fukk up, you fukkin fakkit

This thread is very disingenuous.

At first the OP tries to make the point, "There are fundamental differences between what blacks went through and what gays go through now." Yeah, no shyt, but fair enough. But instead of going with the logical conclusion of, "Therefore, it's incorrect and intellectually dishonest to compare them, and disrespectful to both individual struggles," he instead goes with the typical Coli response of, "Therefore, gays don't struggle." So basically he just made this thread to say, "I hate fakkits," which makes his entire post pointless because if he had just said that from the beginning, most people on here would've still agreed with him, even though many of them have been exposed as simping random trannies on Instagram

"How can you be against gay people? Aren't you black? :skip:"

is racism :ufdup:they think we're only "allowed" to be seen as equal and we're just as "unnatural" and "odd" as gays.

They're showing their true colors

Unless some dude is walking down the street with booty shorts and a shirt that says "TASTE THE RAINBOW :shaq:" How in the hell would I know if he like likes men or not?

Kinda hard to actively discriminate against a group of people who generally speaking don't necessarily have a distinct look to them as someone of a different race would.

You people keep saying that I hate homosexuals.

I really don't. I have beloved family members that are gay. I simply don't approve comparing black skin to homosexual tendencies. :yeshrug:

And it could be argued that gays choose to struggle by parading their sexual preference, even in the face of those morally opposed to it.
